Salix x ‘Aquatica Gigantea Korso’

A very nice pussy willow that is completely different from Mt. Aso. This one has thick stems and uniquely rounded gray catkins that emerge later in the season than some others. Fall foliage is beautiful. A larger willow, Gigantea (which refers to the giant leaves) was originally developed in Finland for biomass, and mature plants are sometimes used for building furniture.

Grows to 12 ft. in a season for us.
