We sell willow cuttings for planting!
We currently have 46 varieties of willow cuttings available for planting. Whatever your need, we have a variety to suit. Having trouble choosing the right one for you? Just email us! We’re happy to help.
Cuttings are taken when the leaves have fallen and the willow is dormant. They are then either shipped immediately, to growers whose climates allow planting in wintertime, or carefully preserved in cold storage until an appropriate shipping time. You may choose your shipping window, or ask us for a recommendation. Our “Shop Willow” page includes good photo representation of each variety, along with descriptions of the best uses, expected size at maturity, and deer-resistance, but if you still aren’t sure, please email us and we’ll be happy to advise. Our willow cuttings come carefully packaged, with detailed storage and planting instructions, and you will receive tracking information when your willow is shipped.
We sell stakes and rods, too!
Stakes are 3’ long and are good for erosion control projects and for planting hedges in areas that are not able to be irrigated and maintained as well as would be done in more cultivated spots.
Full length willow rods for huts, tunnels, living fences, and other living structures are available by special arrangement. If you have a special project in mind, email us and we’ll be happy to help.
We welcome, and are well-equipped to handle, commercial sized projects. Contact us early to plan and schedule, as willow propagation is seasonally sensitive. Just hit the button to inquire!
